Global Sourcing

Ten Square global sourcing services can help you succeed in a changing world. Because we sell equipment to China, as well as source components in China, we understand first-hand the importance of quality parts. We know what it is like to have a brand new machine go down because of a faulty part. Some of the U.S. machines we sell in China contain parts we have sourced. We use our own parts on machines we assemble in China.

With Mandarin Chinese speakers in our U.S. office, and our staff "on the ground" in China, we serve as your single point of communication with the supplier making your product. We communicate your values and commitment to quality to the manufacturer. For companies whose long term strategy includes selling into the China market, the ability and experience of sourcing domestic components can enhance competitiveness in a dynamic market.

Ten Square can help you utilize technology, innovation, and global sourcing to create high quality components at a competitive price. In the design phase, Ten Square can assist in 3D modeling, and finite element analysis. In the quality control process, our staff can complete Level III PPAP. In the pre shipment phase, we provide pre-shipment inspection services.

Let our China experience work for you. Whether you want to source an existing product in China, or start from the ground up in designing and refining a new product. Ten Square can harness the best of both cultures in creating a quality product for the end user.

Ultra High Molecular Weight HDPE
China is making advances in UHMW HDPE which has molecular weights reaching 6-7 million (ASTM). This product can be extruded into pipes, rollers, or flat boards. Current uses in China include lining of dredging pipes in the oil industry, transportation of liquids and solids in industrial applications, as well as using UHMWPE board in lining storage silos and ship holds. UHMWHDPE has an abrasion resistance higher than carbon and stainless steel. See More
Investment Casting
Investment casting, sometimes called "lost wax" casting is a method for producing large intricate castings.
Ten Square has experience in working with suppliers who have the capability of creating molds with complex angles and shapes, as well as how to maintain those characteristics throughout the casting process. See More
ADI
Austempered ductile iron is a choice when parts require a higher degree of ductility and toughness than normal ductile iron. ADI can be used in crankshafts, gears, and other parts requiring high resistance to wear. When parts are designed from the beginning utilizing ADI, advantages can be gained from reduced weight, as well as cost. See More
Die Casting
Die casting is a versatile process for producing engineered metal parts by injecting molten metal under high pressure into reusable steel molds. These molds, called dies, can be designed to produce complex shapes with a high degree of accuracy and repeatability that require little post-manufacturing machining. Parts can be as simple as a sink faucet or as complex as a connector housing. Typical die-casting alloys include aluminum, zinc, magnesium, and copper. Our suppliers have supplied parts for a major U.S. hydraulic supplier and Ikea. See More
Custom and Manufactured Parts
If you need to purchase an existing product such as roller chain, bearings, or other 'off the shelf' products, or if you want a part custom made and want to start with a concept, we can assist you in this process. See More
Rubber
China is a major supplier of tires and custom rubber parts. Ten Square is currently sourcing rubber agricultural gauge wheels and press wheels. Shandong Province is a major tire manufacturing area in China and can supply standard tire sizes or develop custom designed tires. Please contact us to discuss your sourcing needs for rubber products.
Forging
Forging is the process of shaping metal by impacting and/or squeezing preheated metal between two halves of a die. This can be often classified according to the temperature at which it is performed: '"cold," "warm," or "hot" forging. Forged parts usually require further processing to achieve a finished part, and it provides advantages over casting, due to that the internal microstructure can be oriented to improve strength, and internal defects or porosity are minimized.
PPAP
The pre-production part approval process (PPAP) is a new requirement being used by many industrial customers, in which their component and process service suppliers must provide. See More
